With just a few simple tips, you and your kiddos can really gain confidence and efficiency with Google Slides activities.
So let’s get right into learning how to drag and drop in Google Slides on an iPad.
Drag and Drop Key Points
Remember, the drag and drop function is different on an iPad than a computer, so keep these things in mind:
- Use one finger to lightly tap the object you’d like to move.
- Once the black bar appears underneath the object, you can touch, hold and “drag”/slide the object to where you want it. Avoid touching the blue square around the object since this will resize the object.
- Release/lift your finger to “drop” the object in place.
- If you make a mistake (e.g., resize the object), press the “Undo” button (the left-hand arrow) at the top of your screen.
